Late King Mahendra of Nepal had visited United States of America in October 30 to December 3 in 1967. He was welcomed by Lyndon B. Johnson who was the current president of US during his visit. During his visit he made a long trip to US cities that included Williamsburg, Cape Kennedy, and New York City.

Late King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev ruled in Nepal from 1955 to 1972 Bikram Sambat i.e. 11 June 1920 – 31 January 1972. During his days he had made numerous visits to foreign countries like Great Britain and other European countries etc.
