India are yet to concede a goal in the tournament and have scored 5 goals in the tournament while Nepal have failed to register a clean sheet in any of the matches conceding four goals and scoring 8 goals in return.
As per the words of Balgopal Maharjan, Nepal is eager to avenge the defeats suffered against Indian in the previous age group tournaments. “We avenged our losses against Afghanistan by senior and U23 team and now we are eyeing to keep the title home by beating India. Our team is capable of doing so and we’ll give our best to make it true,” Maharjan said adding that the team had found their rhythm and eager to reproduce that form in the finals.
He also revealed that defender Gaurav Budhathoki will miss the final and the team will have to make an enforced change. Apart from that, the coach said there might be one or two changes looking at the shape of the team required.
