Rekha Thapa was imagined in Salakpur in Morang territory of Eastern Nepal. In the wake of proceeding onward from school, she moved to Kathmandu for her higher studies. As she had intense desire to be an on-screen character, she continued joining in various exhibiting looks and energizing undertakings. Later she shared in the Miss Nepal Pageant in 1999, and ended up in second place.[3] Thapa filled in as a model, and was along these lines moved nearer by the producer Chhabiraj Ojha with a recommendation to work in the film "Holy person" with Rajesh Hamal.
